London
Hello people. Firstly, apologies for the lack of updates! It’s official - I’m rubbish! Secondly, I ventured to London last weekend. Yep, all on my own.
I go on two tubes, in rush hour, all on my own! I am very proud of myself. I actually have a photo of big ben on my phone to upload, but my special magic card thing that puts photos on my computer is in my room at home, and I am at work (logged out! honest!) writing this…
After getting silly drunk on the Friday (people should know better then to offer me 80% proof shots and think I’ll chicken out), on the Saturday morning, verrrry hungover, my friend took me to London and we went sight seeing.
After discussing a few touristy options (madame Tussuad’s, etc) I decided I just wanted to tube hop and look around everywhere. I like big buildings, and there are lots there!
We saw China Town, Brick Lane (which I nicknamed ‘India Town’ because of it’s famous curry houses!) The London Eye, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The River Thames, some nice bridges, The Royal Exchange building, the Bank of England building, that one that looks like a gherkin and a lot more places too.
I am very annoyed that I didn’t take my big lovely camera, but I’m promised that next time I visit we can do it again, and I can capture the buildings in all their glory.
I am now worried that I’m a closet architect!

Hey, that’s awesome! London is great and going there on your own is better yet!
I studied Interior Architecture at Art School myself. It was great, you get to visit many of the great cities of Europe and see the most amazing of buildings.
So much to see in London, it would take years.
Woah! This post is full of enthusiasm and energy to throw some feeling inside me. I am not a big lover of crowds or building but The River Thames is my favorite dream place. Post your pictures(Even though they are taken on your mobile).
I work in London, its a nightmare to get around at rush hour.. you did well doing that lol
