News Round-up

I’m I figured that basically, seeing as I haven’t wrote anything of real substance recently, I’d provide you all with a basic round-up of my ‘news.’

I moved to Nottingham, and I now live with another girl in her house, woo! It’s lots of fun and the house is very lovely. I am now only about 20/30 minutes away from work, and I actually have time to myself now! Compared to the 4 even 5 hours a day travelling I used to do… I am very happy!

I’ve been learning how to drive… I can go left, right, forward and change gears. Very cool.

I’m saving up for a telephoto lens, a new car and a macbook pro. I have £2,000 saved so far, which I’m pretty pleased with actually. And, I got a payrise at work, which will help with the saving up! I don’t need the lens or the macbook as much as a car, but I can’t drive yet. Those are the three things that are on my list to own!

Ooooh….My doggy Archie now sits, stays, lies down, leaves and speaks on command. But my Mother should take the credit for those! She is very good at training doggies! My Mum has also moved house, a very lovely house it is too!

I have a new personal project I’m working on outside of work. All a bit hush hush! More on that soon, perhaps?

Congratulations on your new house and not having to travel so many hours each day - I can’t imagine what that was like for you. It’s good that you’re enjoying your new home.

All the best with your driving lessons. Be careful…pedestrians are dare devils. Also beware of “selfish” drivers, of course.

Seems like you’re settling in fine in your new environment. (: It usually takes people like me a while to adjust, or I’d be focusing on all the flaws in the new place and comparing it with the previous. It’s great that you live closer to your workplace now! Saves a lot of time on communing. (And communing, especially on public transport - we all know it’s a pain in the xxx. ;))

Have fun with your driving lessons! (: I’ve people bugging me to learn how to drive as well, considering how I’m four years past the legal age now. But considering my temperament - I guess the road will be much, much safer without me.
