1) My puppy being well behaved. This is a rare occurance and an even rarer occurance when our other doggy is around. So I love to look up, and instead of scrapping with each other, they are sharing a bone, or napping on the big doggy cushion.

I have always believed in some kind of fate. I wrote recently about applying for an assistant managers job, and that I didn’t get through the interview stage. I wasn’t too upset about not getting the job - I was more upset because I felt I couldn’t get my points across well during a group exercise.

Well, I also wrote about putting together a C.V. in .pdf format didn’t I? And that I’d been applying for some more jobs recently?

Good morning all, I have spent all yesterday evening and this morning creating and editing a C.V / Porfolio using InDesign (I love that program!) I am sending it out for a few vacancies that I have found online.

I went with a pink and grey theme, as I love pink and the grey looked very pretty with it!  It wasn’t as harsh on the eyes as the black either!  In total it was 7 pages long! Ohh!

So watch this space, I might be employed this time next week!  I’ve been out of work for 3 weeks since I moved home, and it’s driving me crazy!

I went for an interview last Thursday in Birmingham, and found out today that I was unsuccessful… I’m a bit upset, because I know I can do the job and I did want it, and even though my math skills lets me down, (which I know I can work on) I was rejected because I was unable to get my points across during the group task.  There were two very opinionated and confident girls doing most of the talking, and they genuinely put my points across before I could.  I guess I can take away what I learned from the experience, to be more vocal, and not to have a banging headache on the day! I’m currently doing a web site for the Random Woman, for her blog - a lovely orange and grey theme and don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy to be doing it, but one moment I’m being asked to pass something, the next I have got a tiny puppy whining at me, and biting my hand and then after that someone else begging me to make a cup of tea. So when I finally do get a minute to work on the site I keep loosing my attention span, and ending up on either the dratted FaceBook or reading my feeds.

My dad is very poorly, and I feel like it is the right time to move home now. I dislike my job, my friends have mostly, all moved on. The ones I went to University with all live in London and have proper jobs, whilst I am stuck here, with nothing, doing nothing. So on Sunday, I officially return to Derby. It’s sad, I grew up in Derby - but York feels like home. Not in the house: not at all. Just the streets, the geography and the people, that all feels homely. Of course, when I’m sat down with my Mum, Dad and Brother and our lovely pets, and a giant mug of tea in Derby, then that will be home for me…but I don’t like, or know the city…York has that ancient rustic feel everywhere and I love that. I am pretty sure my concerns are due to the fact that I have watched three series’ of Doctor Who in as many days, but as I have been packing up my room ready to move, in pretty much every bag, or coat, or box, there seems to be a twenty pence piece inside it. It’s actually starting to worry me now. It’s almost like, I spend everything apart from twenty pence pieces and leave them all lying around…

Either that or David Tennant has gone back in time and hidden twenty pence pieces in all my belongings for me to find, to let me know that the Doctor is really real and that one day I will be able to be his companion and travel in the TARDIS.

Ok, so perhaps now I am being silly and irrational, it’s OK - I’m not crazy…I know that was a stupid thing to say…just wishful thinking..

I’m getting my very own puppy, all for my self!  He is called Archie, and he is miniature Schnauzer!  He is about 6 months old  and was my Auntie’s puppy.  She couldn’t really cope with him and now she is shipping him over to me!  She has called him Kimmy, but as he looks so serious and distinguished, we’re renaming him Archie.
