Things to do!
I’m finishing off a WordPress theme for Joie at the moment, she asked me to enable widgets, which I have never done before, and so I spent some time this morning looking into that. If you are familiar with WordPress and styling lists it’s not too hard to get your head around actually. I’m very pleased she pushed me into doing it!
I am taking my time styling her sidebar - I want it to look just right. Hopefully, when I’ve added things into the footer and finished the sidebar the theme will be completed. I’m not sure how long Joie will be using the theme for - but I hope she likes it. I’ll post up a link once it’s all up and running for everyone to see. Of course you can also browse through her sexy pics!
I decided earlier on that sometime over the next week I will author a WordPress theme for users to download. Something wintery, I have some really nice ideas for the images, and have already planned the main bulk of the layout itself. I decided a while ago that creating free themes is a great way to bump up my portfolio of designs, I can set myself a theme of ‘corporate’ or ‘classy’ etc and design it accordingly.
Before I approach that project I need to finish Joie’s theme, and my Uncle has now asked me to have a go at his site for him too. (Yay!) At least he can be safe in the knowledge that he’ll be getting a good design from me, and it will be search engine optimised too. (Not to mention it will be another project for my portfolio, woo!)
I am starting back to work next week which I’m half looking forward to. I really really need the money at the moment - I had saved a lot of money up for Christmas, and to put towards a new camera (well, about £200 in total) but I need to pay this months rent out of that as I’ve not worked for a month. (My Dad’s been ill, so I’ve been at home.) Never mind, I’ll just have to save after Christmas. I guess if I get it in spring, I can take pictures of blossom and ducklings and things, heh heh.
Last but never least, also on my massive list of things to do is my WordPress update. I don’t know which version I am running on this site, but it isn’t the most current. I should perhaps alter the layout at some point too. It’s been this way for a few months and I am starting to tire of it! Heheh. It’s toooo brown!
Well, after all that, I am ready to go and finish Joie’s theme now. Do you have lots of things to be doing, or should you be working on anything at the moment?

4 Things I’ve Learnt About My Dog
1. If you lie on the floor and throw their toy across the room, they WILL bring it you back and drop it onto your
mouth. (Well why not, we put it in their mouths.) Pft bleugh mouth full of doggy slobber.
2. He is frightened of the word ‘banana.’ God knows why? Well, actually I do - after watching the Catherine Tate Show, I ran around singing ‘have a banana’ which was on one of her sketches, and I sang it so loud he ran off!
3. You can walk him, feed him, give him water and play fetch with him - but he is ALWAYS going to sit there and whine at you. Even if at 1am you play ball on the drive, much to the annoyance of your neighbours.
4. Heads are for sitting on apparently.

Designing Twisted Solutions
I have spent a good couple of days redesigning my portfolio site, I am very pleased with it - I love the colours and the whole theme. It’s far from finished, I have the main bulk of content to add, the last site was all done in flash, and the previous page files are all on my other P.C. in York. I want to rewrite everything anyway, a fresh start if you will.

Please let me know what you think, and if you find any errors or broken bits please leave a note, either here or there. I’d really, really appreciate it. Thanks guys!
