I have spent a long time on this design today, the colours for the site are what came first, and really are the big focus here. They were inspired by my lovely new Paper Chase pencil case!

I took a photo of my lovely pencil case and put it onto my computer, and then after a little tweaking I freshly plucked the colours out of paint shop pro and put them into illustrator. I was practicing making pretty swirls and shapes at the time, and after a while I found myself creating a large piece of colourful-swirly artwork.

Next, I cropped pieces out of the ‘artwork’ and sort of arranged them until I was happy with the result, and voila - the header for this gorgeous new layout was born.

After a long while, and many cups of tea later, the style sheet for my new creation was completed. It took a few hours and created a massive pain in my head… but now it’s done. I can finally rest. I now know how new Mom’s feel.

I have just proverbially given birth a new, wonderful, colourful baby layout.

I have another few days to myself this week, I cannot believe it! A couple of days devoted to all things web! I have many many ideas for this site… only never enough time to see them through!

When I was a lot younger I used to think that Cindy Beale off of Eastenders was the same person as Cyndi Lauper the singer. (Of ‘Girls just want to have fun’ fame.)

There was really no other reason for this then them both having the same name. How silly.

Well I have the internet but for the life of me cannot get it to work wirelessly with my laptop.. so I am plugged in via ethernet cable right now… Going to have a proper look at it later tonight, but yay! I’m back online!

I haven’t checked my emails in around six weeks, so this could be a fun afternoon!

The first thing I am going to do on my day off on Thursday is sort out my website. It’s awful!
